Creativity doesn't thrive under strict instructions. The reality is that everyone's creative process is different, and so is their creative potential. There's a big difference between helping someone feel inspired and telling them how to be creative. Inspiring creativity means nurturing an environment where people can come up with ideas through guidance, resources, and inspiration while letting them explore for themselves. Nurturing creativity is like a gardener tending to their plants. They create the right conditions for growth—like soil, water, sunlight, and protection—and adjust accordingly based on needs. The gardener's role is to guide and nurture, but the plants grow in their own ways. Similarly, people thrive in different conditions. It's up to teachers and mentors to facilitate an environment that encourages discovery and exploration. Creativity is about thinking in new ways, exploring possibilities, and solving interesting problems. Rigid rules do the opposite of creativity—it kills it.
