Our Brain Doesn't Work In Folders

Your brain isn't good at organizing thoughts as you're at organizing files on your computer.

By creating folders for different topics, it'll help you find things more easily.

If the brain worked like a computer, it would become overwhelmed quickly. Haven't you noticed how slow your computer becomes when the megabytes keep piling up?

Instead of storing files (information) like a computer, the brain stores things as connections to other things.

When you recall a memory, your brain also triggers related memories.

An example of this is the weather; you might link your current weather with an emotion, and that emotion might trigger a memory of the people you were around or a specific place you've been before.
