The Death Of Traditional Resume

In today's digital world, just having a traditional resume isn't enough. What do you online matters.

Employers and recruiters aren't only looking at your grades or work history—they're checking out your socials and website (if you have one). Your digital presence is just as important as your resume.

I landed a lot of design work and internships not because of my resume but because of how visible I was online. The more you share, the more people can see how you think and work.

Potential employers and collaborators will have a better understanding of your problem-solving approach and thinking.

A digital resume is more flexible than a traditional one. It grows every day and allows you to document your journey. Social media helps you explore ideas and topics widely, while your website showcases your best work, much like a museum of your achievements.

Sharing online creates opportunities—whether it's a job offer, freelance gig, or collaboration. While most people just consume content, you can stand out by contributing and putting your work out there.
