We've become a culture that cares more about what's new and popular than what's rare and timeless. Most people don't take the time to dig into history, ask interesting questions, or look for things that aren't obvious. What I often see online is a constant chase for the latest trends. We feel the need to stay on top of the newest industry updates to make ourselves feel ahead. But has this constant pressure to keep up with the latest made society more stressed? What does wisdom even mean today? Do we think we're better than the past just because of our technological advancements? Do we see previous civilizations as primitive, forgetting they created the foundation for what we have now? Maybe it's time to realize that when everyone is following the crowd, real value comes from exploring what others ignore and looking into material that most people overlook.
